Hi. I would like to compile and run my program on various old intel architectures for research purpose. Pentium 4,  for example.

As I understand - I need to run Pentium 4 emulator and then run my program in this emulator.

And My question here is except Verilog, some tools like synoposys VCS,DC... Cadence Nc verilog...... Where should I start with...too many EDA tools and I am a beginner to make a chip design. What is your target platform  -  FPGAs of ASIC?

I am not sure how to express it in English. In future, we will learn to draw territory in synopsys using an eda tool. We call it digital integrated circuit

1/ Go and ask your tutor, what software do they use and is it possible for you to obtain student license or get access to the server

2/ Try Veriloator, it's free (open source) verilog simulator. Combine it with GTKViewer

3/ Try any free-of-charge FPGA toolchain. You can download Quartus and simulate small projects in it.

4/ Go and get any of the software you mentioned above from the Torrents or similar source (it's illegal, shame on you, don't do it, don't think about it. forget this advice right now. Hope you did)
