Чаще всего в английском языке для приглашения используют три основных фразы. Разберем на примерах каждую из них.

Представим ситуацию... Например, вы говорите: I am having a birthday tomorrow. - У меня День Рождения завтра. И теперь вам надо пригласить своих друзей.

1️⃣ Would you like to come to my birthday? - Хочешь прийти на мой день рождения?

Фраза Would you like to используется, когда мы хотим вежливо кого-то куда-нибудь пригласить.

2️⃣ Are you coming to my birthday? - Ты придешь на мой день рождения?

Здесь мы использовали время Present Continuous. Данный тип вопроса более открытый и используется обычно между людьми, которые хорошо друг друга знают.

3️⃣ Do you feel like coming to my birthday? - Хотелось ли бы тебе пойти на мой день рождения?

Фразу Do you feel like можно перевести, как настроен ли ты, хотелось ли бы тебе. И заметьте, что после этой фразы глагол у нас пишется с окончанием -ing.

Использование глагола like в английском.

1️⃣ В первую очередь стоит знать, что глагол like имеет значение - нравится. Like не используется во времени Continuous. Так же like имеет антоним - dislike - не нравится, который сравним с don't / doesn't like - не нравится. Like может использоваться как с герундием (глагол с окончанием -ing), так и просто со смысловым глаголом.

I like to cook. Мне нравится готовить.
He likes watching series. Он любит смотреть сериалы.

2️⃣ Слово like используется для того, чтобы задать вопрос о предпочтениях человека.

What does he like? Что ему нравится?
Why don't they like to play football? Почему они не любят играть в футбол?

3️⃣ Like может быть использован в значении - как (предлог).

She looks like a crazy old woman. Она выглядит, как сумасшедшая старуха.
You are just like him. Ты такой же, как и он.

4️⃣ В случае, когда слово like употребляется с глаголом to be, то в этом случае мы используем like для того, чтобы охарактеризовать человека как личность.

5️⃣ Связка с глаголом look - look like - выглядеть. То есть с помощью выражения look like мы задаем вопрос о внешности.

What does he look like? He looks like an athlete. Как он выглядит? Он похож на спортсмена.

6️⃣ Очень часто в английском можно встретить конструкцию с would, которая говорит о предпочтениях человека в данный момент.

What would you like? Что бы ты хотел?

Relative clauses. Придаточные определительные в английском языке.

Relative clauses - это придаточные определительные в английском языке, которые раскрывают, либо уточняют какую-то информацию в предложении. В роли придаточных определительных используют следующие слова: who, which, that - который, которые... Все эти слова имеют одинаковое значение, но употребляются по разному. Разберем подробнее каждый из случаев.

1️⃣ Придаточное определительное who.  
Who мы используем с одушевленными предметами.

Пример:

The girl who is sitting in front of me is my colleague. Девушка, которая сидит передо мной, моя коллега.

2️⃣ Придаточное определительное which, that.
Which / that используется с неодушевленными предметами. Какое из слов применить, решайте сами. Разницы никакой нет.

Пример:

The book which I borrowed I lost. Книгу, которую я одолжил, я потерял.
A printer is a device that prints documents. Принтер - это устройство, которое печатает документы.

В английском различают три вида дополнений: прямые, косвенные и предложные.

1️⃣ Прямое дополнение
Прямым дополнением называют лицо, предмет или явление на которое непосредственно переходит действие, выраженное переходным глаголом.

I read a book. - Я читаю книгу. (Read - переходный глагол, a book - это прямое дополнение)

2️⃣ Косвенное дополнение
Косвенное дополнение называет адресата над которым совершается действие. Косвенные дополнения отвечают на вопрос: Кому? Чему?  

He gave me an interesting book. - Он дал мне интересную книгу.

3️⃣ Предложное дополнение  
Предложное дополнение высказывается с помощью сочетания предлога и существительного, местоимения. Отвечает на вопросы О ком? О чем? С кем?  

I like to read books about psychology. - Мне нравится читать книги о психологии.
