cjdelisle:m.trnsz.comm.trnsz.com [matrix]: All of my time currently is going into PacketCrypt and a new blockchain called Mantle, once that launches the plan is to go back to cjdns because we'll be building a bandwidth market
cjdelisle:m.trnsz.comm.trnsz.com [matrix]: cjdns will still be usable without crypto, but if you have a network link which you want to sell, and someone wants to buy access to it, this will become possible
cjdelisle:m.trnsz.comm.trnsz.com [matrix]: The blockchain has no premine but 20% of every block goes to a "network steward" BUT there is a vote and if half of the mantle holders vote against the network steward, then it will trigger an election and the network steward will change
cjdelisle:m.trnsz.comm.trnsz.com [matrix]: And the vote makes the network steward accountable to the people, not like a premine or an ICO where the creator has no accountability
Does it work ok trough private internets then? By the overview of Matrix I understood that its federation is highly dependant on domain names. I didn't have time to check all this yet...
