Not really. The only hard thing in chinese is huge amount of han characters you need to know to be able to read.

right, unlike in Chinese, we have a lot of morphology, even more than in English, but it's not really about context sensitivity, but coordination between pieces of a sentence, i.e. grammar stuff. i'd say English is more context sensitive than Russian with all its multiple meanings for a single word
