Вообще, дам совет: всегда ищи программу в магазине приложений. Если там не будет, уже ищи, как установить

В Линуксе не принято всё качать с оф. сайтов напрямую, как в Винде

Лучше из магазина приложений. В таком случае все обновления будут приходить централизованно, как на Android в Google Play
