Position: Senior UI/Front-end
Responsibilities:
● Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
● Implement new features and workflows
● Improve end-to-end and functional tests performance
● Improve unit tests coverage
● Create and maintain robust, scalable, & operable software solutions
● Create and maintain appropriate design artifacts and documentation so as to enable broad team participation
● Communicate complex technical designs and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non-technical personnel.
● Help in effectively decomposing feature implementation into associated tasks for
planning & tracking purposes as part of a delivery team
● Communicate effectively with local and remote team members
Requirements:
● Good understanding of application design and development processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to applications projects.
● BSc and 3 years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
● Good understanding of application design and development processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to applications projects
● Solid understanding of front-end implementations in an enterprise architecture environment
● Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API's.
● ReactJS, EmberJS a bonus
● Strong functional knowledge or hands on experience with Web Services (REST) is needed to be successful in this position
● Must have strong programming, code development, code debugging and testing skills, troubleshooting skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● At least 2 years experience in JS frameworks
● Proficient on SPA JavaScript frameworks such as react/ember.js
● 3+ years JavaScript experience.
● Experience testing JavaScript code
● Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications
