OSM Galaxy project was launched by Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team(HOTOSM) in April 2021 to improve OSM data sourcing and availability for various OSM user groups. This form is to register interest for contributing to the key components of the project in various capacities.

Work Location: Remote; 40 hrs, Monday - Friday; Flexible Schedule, with functional overlap to HOT’s core connection hours (UTC 1300 - 1700) required.

This paper looks at ways some mapmakers have tried to rebalance the power between mappers and those mapped, including creating participatory processes more intuitive to affected people.
