Update on Your Automatic Payment Schedule
Dear Shokh, We want to provide you an update on the evolving situation with your Payoneer prepaid card, and issues you may be having withdrawing funds as a result of Wirecard AG filing for insolvency on June 23.
Our team at Upwork is working around the clock with Payoneer to resolve the issues our freelance community has been experiencing. Ensuring that you can access your earnings is our number one priority. Therefore, in an abundance of caution, we are changing your automatic payment schedule to manual withdrawals. You may continue manually withdrawing your funds via
*Get Paid Now* or you may edit your payment schedule at any time should you decide to restart automatic payments.
While
*Payoneer has advised* that loading funds to your Payoneer prepaid card has been disabled and transferring funds to your Payoneer account would not be affected, we made this change to provide you some time to add an alternative payment method or to wait for Payoneer to resolve this issue with Wirecard.
