Я начинаю изучать этот подход, и не могу понять.
Действительно ли функциональный подход заменит ооп?
Или эти подходы предпочтительней комбинировать в зависимости от задач?

нужно всё юзать только из необходимости

но изучить ФП стиль очень и очень полезно

На ванильном js-e пальцы отказываются набирать фп-код(

Можно fetch'ем отправить запрос методом put кроссдоменно?

Не пробовал именно такое сочетание требований, но, полагаю, ничего нового: присовокупить заголовки, на сервере разрешения настроить.

В  access-control-Allow-origin нельзя * ставить оказалось

Такие вещи с опытом приходят))
