Hi, thanks for answering. My question is about how likely it is that I can receive the signal of any of them using the dipole coming with the rtl bundle
you need antenna with circular polarization

I know, but there are posts about people receiving with these antennas: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/using-a-tv-dipole-for-noaa-satellite-reception/

Were they just lucky?

you can make one turnstile with two dipole antennas )

As far as I know you can receive circular polarization with v dipoles assuming -3 dB

So V-dipole is just a waste of time right?

Hi there, does anyone of you know anything about cheap CW transceivers?

My general questions are: which one is a good starter. Are they usable even though the price is very low? Also, I know the optimal antenna length for ~7MHz is around 20 meters so, is there any possibility of doing CW/morse at higher frequencies so as to reduce the antenna requirements?

If so, do you have a banggood link for this haha. (Btw, pretty impressive range for 7MHz. Some people reporting >1000 Km with this 1.85$ circuit)

For those of you interested in this, I've found a nice transceiver. It is called "Rockmite".
