First of all, relpace Eff with Effect, and get rid of effects row.

Then you have to pick libraries set which haven't "rot".

Then you have to make your types check.

Lots of examples are outdated ( if you see Eff and all this fancy row-types stuff, it's probably related to 0.11 version of compiller ). So, you can get main idea, then use pursuit to find replacements for packages.
