You will join BAMS Portal core team. BAMS Portal provides multi-tenant modern web UI for order management, portfolio management, compliance and reporting functionality for hedge funds, fund administrators and investment banks. The core team is responsible for development infrastructure, infrastructure services like authentication, authorization, service discovery, externalized configuration, centralized logging and distributed tracing. We research and define approaches that other functional teams use.
Requirements and expectations for the role:
Software Design and Development:
deep technical knowledge and experience in application architecture
has own opinion what good SDLC is
can document his work in English
participating in cross-team code review
has ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; as well as define problems, and develop methods to resolve them in a timely manner
ensures all development processes and practices are completely and consistently followed
works with peers and management to develop process standards and/or enhancements to prevent re-occurrence of Development-related issues
works collaboratively with the team to create and share technology vision on an ongoing basis
Qualifications:
Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of experience in software development
Excellent understanding of C# and .Net Framework \ Core
Strong experience with unit testing
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability
Experience with RDBMS or No SQL DBMS
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Good problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills
Would be a plus:
Experience with OpenID Connect implementation
Experience with micro-service architecture
Event-sourcing and CQRS
Experience building CI\CD pipelines
Kubernetes \ Helm \ Docker
words like influxDB, grafana, kibana, elastic, prometheus, jaeger don’t scare you
Experience with React \ TypeScript \ JavaScript would be a plus as well
