Splunk, believed to be the current overall SIEM market leader by revenue with its Splunk ES product, is also endeavoring to provide full NG-SIEM capabilities, but is not expected to deliver them until the second half of 2022. Also on this journey is SIEM specialist LogRhythm, which has announced that it will also launch its NG-SIEM in 2022, combining SIEM, SOAR, and XDR in a new cloud-native platform.
Other vendors considered for this research that were ultimately not included (or that declined participation) include AlertLogic, Assuria, AT&T Cybersecurity (USM/AlienVault), FireEye, Fortinet, Google (Chronicle), Gurucul, HanSight, McAfee, Microsoft (Azure Sentinel), and RSA Security.
