ну раньше чтобы сделать снапшот надо было пойти на тот хост где работает ВМ и через CLI это сделать ) и ВМ потом нельзя было смигрировать... может конечно чё поменялось уже, я не слежу )
Note the general restrictions that are applied to all types of migration:
Migration of virtual machines with snapshots is not supported (any existing snapshots must be deleted). For more information, see Managing Snapshots.
Migration of virtual machines with linked clones or linked clones of VMs is not supported. For more information, see Creating Linked Clones.
