I've faced this issue, in runtime. But sequelize does not provide much information about the error. It's like a bug from their side. I've already checked their implementation, and this is something related to the updating process. But it doesn't help me much, since I'm doing update in many places.
I hope there are sequlize contributors and they may help me) otherwise, I should open a bug issue in Github.

Also, I don’t know from where it happens, it's unhandled which is surprising for me since my processes have error handlers.
