From Lisk CTO Oliver Beddows:
Hello everyone,
I am back again with another development update for Lisk Desktop and Lisk Service. Our user-interface products.
With this update, I continue to focus on our user-interface products, as we prepare Lisk Core v3 for release later this year.
Following on from my previous update, the current status is as follows:
Lisk Desktop
v2.0.0-beta.3 - Change API to support Lisk SDK v5 API / Change to new address system
* We have completed development of “Change API to support Lisk SDK v5 API” - resulting in alpha.6
* We have completed development of “Change to new address system” - resulting in alpha.7
* The QA process is in the final stages with 3 issues (#3440, #3442 #3504) remaining as of now
* We aim to release the public beta.3 in the coming days
v2.0.0-beta.4 - Support multisignature transactions / Remove second passphrase support
* We have now resumed development of “Support multisignature transactions”
* We have now resumed development of “Remove second passphrase support”
* This will be the last planned beta release before moving to rc.0
Lisk Service
**v0.3.0 **- Change API to support Lisk SDK v5 API / Implement blockchain data store
* The QA process is in the final stages with 2 issues (#371, #454) remaining as of now
* We aim to release the public beta.0 in the coming days
To summarise where we are overall:
* Once Lisk Desktop v2.0.0-beta.4 and Lisk Service v0.3.0-beta.0 have been released, we will enter final public beta testing
* Once Lisk Desktop v2.0.0-rc.0 and Lisk Service v0.3.0-rc.0 have been released, we will move forward with the Lisk Core v3 testnet migration
* Once the Lisk Core v3 testnet migration has been completed successfully, we will schedule the Lisk Core v3 mainnet migration itself
That concludes my update for today. Another update will come May 12th.
Thank you for your continued support and patience as we move closer to releasing Lisk Core v3.
Cheers
