Project Brutality 3.0 with The City Of The Damned WAD, made by Tormentor667 remake of the map with a same name, released back in 2004. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Project Brutality will be released after the DOOM:Eternal so it might take some time (remember, WHEN IT'S DONE). Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, including crashes to the desktop!

The City Of The Damned remastered by Tormentor667, is a very nice detailed single level WAD, styled with some Blood 1 vibes and atmosphere. The map is heavy and gritty, full of wooden textures and stone, it reminds a lot the first episode of Blood in style, there is also a small meat processing factory. This was the first ever Non-Segmented Scriptless Any% Speedrun below 27 minutes. A lot of work and improvement brought us to this time and the weeks prior really did show how close within reach of the "Sub 27" we really were -- and it just kept getting closer and closer. The race with Muty71 for the world's first sub 27 was so intense.. and oh such an honorable player to go against. The progression in skill and consistency with runners has never before been so fast and evident with all the recent great paced runs, personal bests and the trades back and fourth for World Record within the span of just days.

This was truly a time to be remembered and documented in Half-Life history.
