I checked in with our senior team who reviewed our pipeline next to the next from our first call and, unfortunately, we won't be able to continue our process at this point in time. While your extensive experience (especially in iOS) was extremely exciting to our senior management and would have been of great value to the whole team, we won't be able to match our salary expectation anywhere close to the other offer you currently have (approx. €125k + bonus). This is also the case for any type of leadership position (incl. Staff Engineering for iOS / Tech Lead for iOS).
We are very sorry about this and still hope that you find the next opportunity in Germany for you soon! Thanks for the time you invested to get to know us, highly appreciated! All the best – it was my pleasure!
