Position: Frontend Tech Lead

We are currently looking for a hands-on Frontend Tech Lead to join the awesomeness of Global Savings Group in our office in London or Munich.

Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:
- 7-8 years of experience in software development
- Lead and hire for our high-performing teams of developers (2+ years)
- Take responsibility for our solution and contribute to improving architecture in terms of performance, security, scalability, modularity and operational efficiency
- Be involved in inception to delivery of various features and products on an ambitious and challenging roadmap
- Oversee and review the daily deliverables to ensure compliance with high quality standards
- Recognize high performance, reward accomplishments and devise strategies for individual performance improvement
- Coach and motivate all team members by encouraging creativity, experimentation and risk-taking
- Explore and evaluate new technologies and conduct knowledge sharing sessions with wider audience within GSG
We are a match if you have…
- Good grasp of TypeScript, its environment and type system
- Deep knowledge of Object-oriented programming concepts with application to concurrent event-based systems
- Keen eye for architecture and application design patterns
- Solid experience with a front-end JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, Angular, React, etc.
- Solid experience with REST API and GraphQL
- Experience in leading a high performance engineering team
- Expertise in AWS services, especially Serverleess architectures, AppSync and API Gateway
- Good knowledge of DevOps principles would be beneficial
- Understanding of how browser extensions are structured would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English
