Salary: from 2.000$ to 10.000$ depending on experience and background

Location: Worldwide. It’s a new startup, founders are gonna open headquarter in London soon. Successful person can live and work in London, San Francisco or Istanbul in the future.

About this role:
Carna.ai is a new approach to education with its AI-powered, comprehensive and data-driven platforms. We offer a platform with scientifically proven content written by 100s of linguists and reliable high technology solutions through a combination of linguistics and artificial intelligence. As part of the engineering team, you will:
• Work closely with the rest of the team (co-founders, engineering, product, design, linguists) to define and implement new features from start to finish, with clean and well-tested code (dev-ops, server, client).
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve our internal automation tooling to ensure our students' quick and reliable education.
• Build and maintain infrastructure and monitoring such that our students consistently have the best possible learning experience.
This might be a fit for you if...
• You have experience building and maintaining software used by consumers or businesses.
• You are proficient in front-end technologies.
• You understand and care deeply about the ramifications of the code you write on the customer and the business.
• You are comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of iteration of an early-stage startup.
• You are resourceful and will do whatever it takes to deliver delightful customer experiences.
• Have passion for learning new technologies and self-education.
Nice to haves:
• Experience in implementing unit tests in JavaScript;
• Experience with React.js;
• Experience with Node.js;
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS;
• Experience with React Native;
• Experience with Databases such as PostgreSQL;
• Knowledge of the Git version control system.
