Well, subpixel AA for IDE was disabled by default for macOS (with auto-switching to greyscale AA) To make it available again please use -Denable.macos.ide.subpixelAA=true
Small update: it occurs if I have "subpixel" antialiasing enabled. Performance is great on disabled antialiasing (but fonts look terrible) and much better on grayscale.
