You know, one's not supposed to actually answer it, just say "fine thanks", but some feel like it's an actual question

I have no idea, I've been told that it's common opinion in the area where that guy resides among commoners, but he wouldn't tell where exactly except that it's in US. I'm kind of curious if I could learn more about this... misunderstanding?
