In view of the rapid spread of the new coronapneumonia epidemic around the world, China has decided to temporarily suspend the entry of foreigners with valid visas and residence permits to China from 0:00 on March 28, 2020. Suspend the entry of foreigners with APEC business travel cards. Suspended port visas, 24/72/144 hours of transit visa-free, Hainan entry visa-free, Shanghai cruise visa-free, Hong Kong and Macao region foreigners group entry to Guangdong 144 hours visa-free, ASEAN tour groups to Guangxi visa-free and other policies. Entry with diplomatic, official, courtesy and C-word visas is not affected. Foreigners who come to China to engage in necessary economic, trade, scientific and technological activities, as well as for urgent humanitarian needs, may apply for visas from Chinese embassies and consulates abroad. Visas issued by foreigners after the announcement are not affected.
