Со стороны приложения я проверяю, качаю, распаковываю, но что должно быть на севере? Там должна быт ькакая-то логика? В гайдах пишут какой-то код туда

Причем тоже electron-based

на серверной части необходимо предоставлять билды

для всех поддерживаемых систем
