Our client is Sensorberg. It is a Berlin-based technology company that develops hardware and software for the digitalization and automation of buildings. Using smartphones, users can enter a building without a card or key, operate elevators, book meeting rooms at short notice or adjust the room temperature to suit their needs. There are 3 main IoT products: Smart Storage, Smart Office, Smart Home.

Must-have skills:
• 3+ years project experience with Ruby on Rails;
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and usage of SOLID principles;
• Experience with SQL databases (ideally with PostgreSQL);
• Different methods of authentication (Oauth, JWT o.A.)
• GraphQL API development;
• Test-Driven Development (Rspec);
• Git Flow;
• Some knowledge of Docker;
• Working proficiency in English.

Nice-to-have skills:
• Event-Driven Design (Rails Event Store);
• MQTT;
• Kubernetes.

Working conditions:
• remote work
• flexible work schedule
• very good office
• no relocation package but visa support is provided

Salary is up to 6700 EUR gross

NOTE: this is a fully remote position but the candidate should be located in Germany or willing to relocate.
