Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d)
We're a startup based in Munich with the mission to make business life easier. In order to accomplish that, we provide a set of tools that help our merchants to create and/or expand their business into a digital era.
We're currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with Ruby on Rails experience to contribute to the development of our platforms.
We strive for clean code and we build our products with Ruby and Elixir. We also love good object orientation and functional programming concepts and we develop features in an agile and cross-functional environment.
Your tasks
Build and maintain web applications written in Ruby (Sinatra and Ruby on Rails) and Elixir (Phoenix)
Build and maintain microservices with JSON APIs
Write optimized queries for PostgreSQL
Connect to third-party APIs
Write efficient, tested code

A good understanding of HTTP and web development best practices
