если у опенсорса нету норм спонсоров довольно трудно держать его на идее

в конечном итоге проект съедает все время...или очень много его, и приходится либо его забросить к чертям а второй вариант споносоры со мной не случался

Homer 7.x is already available in beta since weeks as Docker bundles - the backend functionality is pretty solid and powerful already, while the UI/Front-End still needs love and improvement.
As of when it will be mature and stable enough, it all depends on the community contributions, intereste and support we'll receive.

the truth is we aimed really, really high and HOMER 7 is taking its time to complete with our current development resources and no sponsors or financial supporters.
This being said, I can tell you our team at large is hard at work, making good progress and positive things will be awesome and extremely exciting for everyone!
Be sure we are committed and looking forward to releasing the fruit of our work as soon as possible, and hear everyone's feedback!
Consider the upcoming Fosdem presentation as the blogpost about HOMER's future and new architecture as that's precisely the content, as well as presenting the existing achievements and modules already out.
Everyone in our community is more than welcome to join us there or on the list with ideas, requests and/or offers to help (a true rarity) the door is always open.
PS: If you look at our history, HOMER even versions are development, odd versions releases. HOMER 6 is HOMER 5 + dev components, was never officially released.
