After all these years, I became sceptical about ML approaches in #AlgoTrading , #priceprediction, etc. So, I’ll better keep silence to let your inspiration grow up.
And what I really can share with you - is that the essence of computing approaches in trading makes this area much and much more competitive, then discretional area.
You may see thousands of screenshots with volume profiles in common traders chats - because it’s useless and non-applicable. Algo area - quite another area. And a quite another community.

Actually I'm studding Data Science for another reason, not for trading. But this is a subject that got my attention. Obviously I'm sceptical too. When I start to see people selling courses and books on how to make money on the market I grab my wallet and start running away 😂

What about performance? Do you persist Data on disk? Fastparquet coverts Decimal to String to save on disk
