IIt's not as powerful as it's made out to be. It's 2 servers + 1 custom router + my desktop sitting on a shelf.
EDIT: highjacking a top comment cause people are asking about what hardware I'm using
Monitors(left to right): 23.6" asus basic ass 10 year old 1080 tn, 27" 1440p 144hz acer XF270HU, LG 29" ultrawide, monitor mounts are just the ones I found on amazon that were on sale and from
primecables.caMouse: G pro wireless
Keyboard: in picture -> GH61 hotswappable with T1 switches, also have a XD84 with navy blues
Audio: cheap ass speakers, HD6xx, Topping DX3 DAC/AMP combo
WMR: samsung odyssey plus, I pretty much only use it with beatsaber
Server rack: Some random Kijiji ad
Server internals bottom to top:
- UPS Cyberpower PR1000LCDRM1U got this at an amazing price at like 50$
- 1st 4u server: Xeon 1230 v2, 8gb ram, 6x 2TB HDDs, 1 SSD
- 2nd 4u server: Xeon 1230 v2, 8gb ram, some other random drives
- 2u router: G3258, mellanox connectX-3, 8gb ram
- blank panel
- 2u patch panel (i got 2 u cause it looks nicer and I will never actually end up using all this space)
- basically it's a 1u powerbar with switches (also an aesthetic choice for the most part, also makes it easier to turn on and off shit)
- 2u shelf with my main desktop on it: coolermaster Q300L, hyper 212, Ryzen 3700x, 32gb ram, GTX970
- some cheap ass monitor I got for free
- another blank panel
Sorry boys and girls but I wont go into the motherboard, storage and PSUs cause honestly they aren't really the difference makers. The only things I bought BRAND NEW in this system are my current CPU MOBO combo + ram, everything else was basically second hand. Just gave it a thorough ass cleaning.
