I am a DWS user and thought Id poke my face in and see whats what. Im hoping to find a way to load the MS Store...

So why did you use it in the first place? You better have lurked before running such kind of utilities #what
Now you have several options - to rollback if you didn't disable the system recovery; to clean up the hosts and firewall rules; to search in this group for answers, people were talking about it in the past.

Would you mind sharing the 4 hosts you deleted? The MS Store works fine for you now?

yes when I deleted those msstore worked and 0.0.0.0 client-s.gateway.messenger.live.com when delete this skype worked for me

Thank you guys thats very helpful. The store works for me now! :) To answer the question why in Gods name anyone would WANT the M$ Store I want to play gamepass games. I can now download and install games. BUT I cnt login to any of the games. It gives an authentication popup but the popup is immediately closed down and the game crashes. This is my new challenge. Has anyone had experience getting the xbox game pass to work?

When dealing with software from Microsoft and alike there's no such thing as balance between functionality and privacy. That balance is only possible by separating your activities between different computers, allowing them to spy on you whilst, f.e. playing from one machine, but not when working from another...
